I haven't had time to read all this thread but I'd just like to honour my Grandmother and Aunt.

My Grandmother volunteered for the ATS during WWII and she used to drive ambulances in London. My Aunt was in the WRNS and my Uncle was in the Army. Neither my Grandmother or my Aunt ever spoke about what they did but I'm very proud of them both. Unfortunately my Uncle died from TB during the war, just a few months after I was born, at the age of 21. He left behind a wife and baby son who later emigrated to New Zealand. Unfortunately the family lost contact with them after they emigrated.

Not going to be around for a while now, so this may be my last post for a while. Hope I can get to read all this thread when I'm back online.
