For those of you with Photoshop
Photoshop comes with an appliaction called Image Ready which I use for my pictures. It's extremely efficient in making small file sizes - I save mine as 600 pixels wide at meduim jpeg and have individual file sizes under 40k. This gives me the best trade-off for size vs clarity.
I must admit, I sometimes just upload pics to MLU directly, mostly when I don't have access to my server and want to get something happening quickly - I'll try to be more patient in future! I'm happy to host images too - and a lot of you are already sending me pics for upload which is great. Geoff, I reckon this forum is the best place on the net, and more power to you for creating it!
