I know how you feel. Maybe next time Perry comes up I can be here for more of the fun. I had to leave to pick up # 3 son from the railway station. P.S. What's for Christmas dinner, a bowl of salad and a glass of water? Gord |

Andy,
Yes the 73mm gun is deactivated, but did not need to be to come into the country. FA issued a import permit with the gun listed seperately, imported as a non restricted firearm. Just had to forward a copy of my PAL to Ottawa to finish the import paperwork. The European countries is was transported through required the gun to be deactivated. I do have power turret traverse, but have not yet figured out the power elevation ( I have it powered up, but can not figure out how to retract the travel lock ). Intercom, IR, and gunners sight all work beautifully. Perry |

A few MLUers and like minded folks had a chance to see and enjoy Perry's BMP over the weekend thanks to Perry and Gord Yeo's hospitality. The Petrolia crew came up along with Stewart Loy, Tim G and myself. We had a chance for a little joyride with Perry and see Gord's great workmanship on a variety of Iltii, jeeps etc and a nice lunch with old friends...what better way to spend a Saturday. Thanks Perry and Gord.
