Randy, I was at this event in August last year and it was superb - a real top day out. As you say there was a large contingent of British stuff there - I think the re-enactors were from the 15th Scottish Div - and some quite experienced Yanks to explain it all to anyone interested. PIATs , Brens, Dingos and lots of other British kit were there in abundance. The VMMV Open Day is an extraordinary event and I had been wanting to see it for a few years. I was finally dragged away by the family, who had seen enough after three and a half hours of northern Virginia's heat and humidity. Jack |

Hello Jack, Thank you for the kind words. Yes there was alot of the 15th RECCE folks there and I was one of them. Both Dave and I had the Dingo out driving in the Tank run shooting the Bren off. I'm looking forward to this years event. Cheers Randy |

I have been down to the VMMV Open House twice (actually as a volunteer). Its a good show with a great collection of vehicles, run by some outstanding people. A bit of a drive, but well worth it. Perry |
