hi barry
i'll be there in my carrier, i had booked the cromwell in aswell but they're not letting steel tracked tanks on the road so it's not going now which suites me fine as i'd rather drive a carrier any day.
as for ending up deaf at the end of the day why not buy a set of clansman headsets from ebay for a tenner and fit a set of motorbike comms into them and that way you can speak to the crew without learning to lip read, they have the added bonus of a flap which opens and closes so you can hear people speaking or shut out the noise all together, i sometimes wear mine at home when the wifes moaning
see you there

rick
