Lynn is quite correct, all Radum products are made in China! For that matter, so are most everyone elses too.
I have bought several items from them in past. Sandblast cabinet, parts washer, etc.. You have to pick your item and examine very closely for build quality. I am extremely pleased with the blast cabinet. Parts washer could be better built but it works without problem............yet. Watch out for items which are complex design or build. Things got rushed through, as it would when you get paid by the quantity you build. flaring tool 1.jpg flaring tool 2.jpg It's not always complexity that brings China manufacturers undone. The above flaring tool came from Radum (via China) and this is how it looked after the FIRST trial flare using bundy tube. A worse job you could not imagine, and the tool itself must have been made of cheese! Just very poor materials and dreadful attention to detail on this one. Caviat emptor (or however it's spelt)

When it comes to items that protect my safety, Chinese made is on my no-go list. I prefer to buy American or Canadian if possible. I don't care what kind of deal something is, especially things like hoists, chainfalls, jacks, jack stands etc.
The joke here in Canada now is that CSA approved items are not neccessarily that.. (CSA= Canadian Standards Association, a non-biased testing authority to which a classification of known standards are applied and tested to) The CSA has become known as the Chinese Safety Authority because the Chinese falsely label products coming into Canada with CSA logos, having neither applied for testing, nor been ever granted acceptance to apply CSA logos to these items.

I have a double flaring tool that I hardly use. You can borrow it any time if you like. Cheers Jeff
