Going through my files I found some old pictures concerning the TPZ-1 8x8 prototype, built as a possible successor of the DAF YP-408, 8x6 apc. The prototype was tested and later destroyed. The YPR-765 AIFV was finally the winning vehicle.

Default Transportpanzer

Tpz is German I guess and means Transportpanzer?
It looks like a lengthened Fuchs 6x6, while the centre reminds me of that Czechoslovak big thing...

Yes it was an extended version of TPZ1 Fuchs. Made at special request of the "Koninklijke Landmacht". So quit unique.
