The first picture definitely looks like half-track tracks, 3 of them. As for the second picture that is not a half-track track, nor does the frame look anything like the parts from a half-track. The 3rd picture I'd have to say the same as the second. None of those parts looks to be from a half-track. Once dug out maybe more will tell us better

Richard I will send you measurements and actual pictures of track and sprockets etc to you directly

Andy

Andy you are right! At first glance I thought regular US WW2 half track stuff but indeed it isn't. I can see a leaf sprung bogie and a different type of track. Must be the remains of one of the pre-war Cunningham half tracks as depicted on this pages like http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/U...lf-tracks.html and http://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=1062

Great find, Richard!

So Richard, that must mean they are rare! Go and save them! Even if no one needs them now, when they are gone someone will!

Cheers,

Default Retrieval of Tracks

Guys,

Thanks for the information. They will be excavated tonight and I'll have them back at my shop Thursday afternoon. Will post pictures when the dirt is off of them.

Cheers!
