Sold: 1945 M4A2 76mm Wet Sherman

Gents, before I post anywhere else, my Sherman is for sale. Running, complete and sitting in Edmonton. Rubber tracks are worn and brake friction material needs changing, otherwise in excellent condition.

Please don't email to see how much, OK? I have several appraisals on hand for those seriously interested and they are over $100K. Tanks are expensive to own, to move and to buy. If you can afford a tank and are not afraid of the cost of movement from Alberta, then send a message.

It is on the way, I passed it headed southbound as I was headed northbound towards Cochrane ON. This was about 7pm this evening.

The new owner is known to me but I have not been given the OK the blab so I won't.

All I would say is that it is a genuine person with whom I have had dealings and a guy who will do the right thing for the vehicle and it wont disappear and rot away.

He is a chap who has the means to maintain it and preserve it for a long time to come. No it is not my employer.
