Got the frame finally in paint. Didn't paint the front bumper, i will paint with the body to make sure paint matches. Got the engine in a proper colour. I will test fire the engine this week on the stand.
On to brake lines and blasting the body panels, cleaning/inspecting the boogies etc. finally over the hump onto assembly

Started on stripping and blasting the firewall. There is welding needed around the windshield frame and at the frame mounting area. Dash is out and after 60 years of beating, it was dented in a few places. Its mostly straightened now

Really nice work.

I cant wait until our new house is finished and I can build our shop so I too can get tinkering. Working in the shop at work doesn't cut it.

Very nice work, warms my heart to see a restoration done right. She's gonna be a real looker once you get through with her ;-)

Well, been a bit, so here's where i'm at as of now

A shot of the rad armor before and after

Started to paint all the armor while waiting for the machine shop to make new bushings in the clutch/brake pedal assembly, that also triples as the front cab mount and master cylinder mount. Until i got it back, I couldn't install the cab, which meant all the armor was kicking around

Mount back and assembly starts

I'm glad i haven't done final paint on the panels yet, all the new door hardware arnt fitting right and have had to remove them to modify them
