Thumbs up

That is very inspiring too see.
I have a rear engine support to replace as well as the bumper mounts on the C8A. All my work is going to have to be "frame-on" for the time being, but I hope to have it acceptably tidy in time.
Did you re-rivet the cross-members? I think I see bolt-heads there. I have had it suggested to me that I carefully remove the 3/8" solid rivets to get the bad junk off then re-weld the rivets back in. OTOH, my brother the aircraft metal-bender says getting hold of a 7 or 9X riveter and bucking new ones in shouldn't be a big problem. Opinions?
Now I'm the one with the dumb questions: Why not just the POR-15 primer, then the OD over that? What was factory standard - chassis black, then service colour?
The engine looks very nice, too - and now I'm the one with more dumb questions. Is that "Chevy grey" standard engine colour, or were CMP engines something else, like sky blue a la British practice? The grey looks good.
