So....Bryan. Am I to understand that both you and Fitton have Mules now?
I am eager to get mine back together. I have owned it since last October and it still looks the same as when I purchased although I do have all the parts to put it back together.

My Mule had fun at Kingsville this past weekend!

Did you get all the manuals yet? You can buy a CD with all of them on it (Not recommended),
or Download most of them??? (Ask here and you will be directed where to get them or get them sent to you)

Those should help you in your rebuild

(Removed URL , if you need a manual please ask the board here and
you will be directed where to get it from for free (sorry to any I offended
by posting the original URL))

hope that helps

Never, ever buy military truck electronic manuals online (the PDF ones). You can find them for free in tons of places online. We post new manuals on our website for free all the time. The mule manuals are available to download for free in many places.

The more money you send to places like this, the more they rip people off. They downloaded the manuals for free and just put it on a CD for you to buy. So in other words making massive profit (a blank CD costs maybe $0.25 and they sell you the CD for $25-$40).

I can see paying for an original copy of the manual or maybe even a printed copy, but not for a PDF of the manual.

Sorry for the rant, but I really hate these types of places. Is the reason why we put together the website and post all the manuals so that others can download them for free.

If anyone needs the mule manuals, we have the manuals in PDF for free (I can upload them and send a link to them).

Sorry I angered you with the post, I have removed the URL from the original post,
and directed anyone needing a manual just to ask the board, I did not mean to cause
any disturbance or offense. I just wanted to try and help.
Please accept my apology.

Don't worry about it Bryan. I am not angry. It is just one of my big pet peeves

What makes places like that even worse is that they go and add a copyright notice to the documents stating that they are the property of that company and it is illegal to use unless you buy it from them. Which is naturally completely false. Anything written up by the government (Canadian or US) cannot be copywritten by law. And you are free to copy/distribute it as long as it does not contain personal information or has been labeled something like "secret".

I just really don't like how they take advantage of people like this.

Sorry if I came off as angry. Didn't mean to

Mule looks good. Are you going to add the alternator/battery/electric start modification to it?

Default Mule modifications

I have to find out what is all involved with the starter set up,
If I find it does not fundamentally change the mule or require
major surgery, I will probably eventually install the electric start
(the novelty of pull starting does wear off fast) I will probably
just add a battery and the starter to start (should be fine if
charged before a weekend to last all weekend, or hooked up
to a carefully hidden solar panel to keep it charged). Otherwise i will just
probably look for some appropriate Jerry-cans and munitions boxes
and thermal food boxes to place on it for show. For now maybe
a seat cushion for a passenger.

yes we need to share a ale some time and talk!

PS Notice what is just in-front of the rear wheel on the passenger side photo?
(It is MINE, I touched it first and last, no matter WHAT Charles Thinks!)

Default mule herders

so how many of you will be going to Kingsville this weekend?

I hope to meet you all there and get to know the faces behind the names
as it were. I am really bad with names and have short term mem issues
but I love to get to know everyone!

Anyone bringing a Mule to Kingsville Military Muster this weekend?

Chris what type of Mule do you have?
What has to be done to it yet to make you happy?
Love to hear more.

Wpns 421, Gilles, your M274A5 is it restored yet? do you have photos?
