Mine had stencil on it as being inspected by REME FARELF, which is Far East Land Forces, could be Singapore, Malaya, etc, but still not used. They were designed by Stuart Turner Ltd, mine was made by them, others were licence built by companies Douglas and Enfield. They look like a small sewing machine in size and can be carried in one hand. regards, Richard
