Hopefully the DVD for 2012, Year of the 6X6 will be available from the beginning of the week via the office. It went to the duplicators on Friday. I am planning to shoot another exciting Corowa, this one should be a beaut with so many unusual and interesting things, including the SC1 and of course plenty of trailers. Next year (Year of the FORD and WW1 vehicle) I am hoping to be there as a participant rather than a film maker, the first time since 2002! So if you see yourselves as budding camera people for 2014 please speak to me this year.

We all love your DVD's so we hope some of the MLU members will buy one or two. This year Keith will have the Year of the 6X6 DVD from last year for sale at $35 and all the past DVD's for $30. For 6 DVD's not including the 2012 Year of the 6X6 you will get them at the bargain price of $120 and if you want the 2012 Year of the 6X6 included you can pay $130. Bring your money and you will see how this event has evolved and improved.

For anyone up in NSW or Qld who is debating on attending Corowa, the bad weather you have been suffering is not effecting Corowa or Riverina area. Forecasts from Bureau of Meteorology show next weekend, 9/10th March as being sunny and max temps of 31 and 32. The Elders weather website is showing Sat, Sun and Mon as 34, 35 and 36 degrees, so looks set to be a cracking week....... still time to get late entries in by emailing or phoning Jan.

For people using the Showgrounds and for all participants on the Saturday the following guidelines have been set by the Corowa Racecourse and Showground Trust:
1. Camp only in the designated areas. 2. Leave plenty of space around the unloading ramp(s) and do not encroach on the roadways. 3. Strictly no dogs are allowed on the grounds -- no exceptions. 4. The race track is out of bounds to all. 5. Keep the marked display area clear until its use on Saturday morning. 6. Only establish swap stalls where directed. 7. Keep noise and machinery movement down to a minimum when trainers are exercising horses. 8. Exercise care when driving all vehicles so there is no damage to the grounds. 9. The only access to the Racetrack toilets is to be on foot through the pedestrian gate in the fence. 10. In case of the need to evacuate the site, exit through the main gates to a safe location in the adjacent streets. 11. There are to be no campfires on the grounds. 12. For all vehicles on Saturday once your vehicle is placed in the display area they cannot be moved until 11.30am, and will then need an escort marshal to assist you out of the shared traffic zone. 13. Please do not litter the area, and either take your rubbish with you or place it in a bin provided before you leave.
