T J Richards were the original bodywork makers and agents for Dodge/De Soto/Fargo vehicles in Australia, indeed eventually becoming Chrysler Australia. They were also active in war effort, I have a couple of 25Pdr and Bofors ammunition boxes made by them with TJR stamps.

So the tray body certainly has Dodge links, and does appear to be original.
