David,

Ah, yes, there's a lot of stuff on the market these days. Guys passing away, getting out of the hobby or needing the cash to make ends meet in hard times? You tell me...

Lovely Cab11 for sale on Milweb. Could be an easy resoration by the looks of it. (same truck was also for sale in 2005, see page on of this thread).

Description seems a bit off. Cab11 with cab vents, 16inch wheels and GS body......C60S or C30? More likely to be a late 1940, or early 1941 truck.

Yes, I saw and recognized it instantly.

Being an early truck it must be a C30 LAAT or Derrick. Nice one , someone should snap it up now that it has come on the market again.

Such a lovely truck. I see the tank in the back has disappeared in the meantime.....sold to the scrappy and resulting in a lower asking price?

Any room left in your garage Hanno?

And now for sale in Hoogeveen, Holland ?

No, just the owner advertising it on the Dutch GAF92 website and trying to make sence of the Dutch language.

Vrij zware stuk.

Just for the fun of it, I let Google translate loose and this is the English "translation"
Quote:
Originally the plate V8 engine .
The goat , and the seats are dismantled , disconnect the tank , but have been sold well with !
The Ford was found between Leuze - en-Hainaut and Tournai in 1944 .
Some change for the company after the war . Needed
There is the spare wheel which is meandering and turn to the side , there is a reserve with wheels.
The materials (including a creek ) is provided and other parts where I do not have the tools ( but I think to make the engine when turned on old cars) .
There is still the American star on one of the doors , and the original under the paint gray paint .
The engine as shot more since the eighties . The water was drained and the essence .
I HAVE THE PAPERS OF THE VEHICLE .
Opportunity to get seen by appointment.
I 'm looking to recover a vehicle ancestor. Exchange. ( ( Belgian gendarmerie vehicle / trailer / trailer kitchen, etc. . )
Ridiculous auction will not be taken & I engine , not sell or parts of vehicles separately into account.
Pretty heavy piece.
All kidding aside, has anyone seen that engine tag before?
