The male fastener on the bag is 1/4 dia, same as used on the bottom seat cushion cover straps to retain seat cover to the metal seat base, also as used on the windshield frame for the canvas deflectors, but not the same size as those used on the 12 cab canvas deflectors which are larger and a locking type

Here is what the bullet looks like on the 13 cab window frame its a bit longer than the bullet as shown on the bag but same design

my two bags have a difference not only in colour but one has the second set of leather clips. anybody know there purpose? Rear windows?
And I am in need of one for my new truck? |

Brian is definitly out of these bags, glad I got my first two years ago. Anybody have a new source or interested in Repro's? I will need another one for my winch truck.

Yes, that's what they supported. Two different design bags in Aust for standard 13 cabs, of course: the earlier wider (front to back) side curtain bag for cabs with steel doors, narrower bag for '44 pattern cabs with demountable doors and narrower side curtain frames. There was also the bag for the Aust No.9 artillery tractor which held the curtains vertical, rather than horizontal. Mike Last edited by Mike Cecil; 09-01-21 at 22:14. |
