Thanks for that, i have an decal sheet produced by a company called - Whiskey Jack decals which were Canadian based. (Don`t know if they still exist) The Jeep is stated as a regimental Commanders Jeep.

The serial number is quoted as CM4230597. Also has the letter Z under the windscreen and 42 (in half blue/red square) situated on the R/H side under windscreen.

I now have doubts as to the accuracy, so could anybody give any further info.
