That's what it says, the real truth can be established by the chassis number as the the front shell could have gone onto another vehicle.

This is what the entry in the book says:

'Truck, 3 ton, Mock AA Gun Mounting’, engine number PR3794896, chassis number 2844300428. Sold to GM-H.

So as a mock up you'd expect it to have been reconverted to a normal truck. If you get access to it again Shane you can now check the numbers.

Should know in a few days or so if the numbers match, I don't even know if the owner wants to sell it. Any idea what sort of price would be the go for this truck if numbers do match(wish the gun was in another shed on the farm ) Thankyou all for your feedback lads.......hang on whats this well what do you know its a truffle

I would think about the same as one in the same condition, or in other words it could be a slab, scrap price, or gold plated. Depends entirely on the seller (if he wants to sell it).

Of course if someone were keen to buy it you wouldn't mention it has a history anyway, would you?
