Charlie, as the owner of many carriers, can you confirm that they have 2 bends, how far from each end, and what the angles are? (we are talking about CTL 7111)
On another note, when I was at Colins he had a clutch arm (TL 2731 ) it took the standard pin to locate it, but was also clamped tight with a pinch bolt. I hadn't seen one like that before. Are they common?

standard pins and cotters on mine ( I think ).......
If all goes according to plan , I'll be pushing and pulling things about this afternoon and will look then. Maybe even make a photographic rendering. I'd do a charcoal sketch but it's hard to mail a cave wall.

Lets see how this goes: (from a carrier hull on its way to a new home...)
The tape was hooked over the end of the clevis as shown in pic 3... from the bulkhead end , the first bend is at about 18" the matching bend is at the rear clevis total offset is about 2" and of course the axis pins are parallel...
