Default Christmas 2013

Christmas season is upon us again. Vicki and Samuel are in the Batlow singing group and sang at carols by candle light tonight. The Tumut town band came up to play for us and the schools also preformed. Rotary were hosts for the evening.
Merry Christmas to all from the Pearce clan.

Default Merry christmas

Hi All

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from my family to yours. We have had some hot weather the last few days with yesterday hitting 43 deg. Back to winter with 38 deg. forecast for today with strong winds and the possibility of some rain, that will make it nice and humid. Prediction for Christmas Day is 30 deg. and Sunny.

I hope you all have a great time and I thank you all for your camaraderie and assistance during the year. I know it has been both a good and bad year depending who and where you are. We also lost some top people during the year and they are remembered at this time of the year.

Cheers

Tony

Hi All,
May I wish you all a Merry Xmas and a peaceful New Year, from a very wet and very windy Oxfordshire in the UK ( looks like we have to suffer this for the next few days).

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all my MLU friends!

As I write this it is a balmy -20c here in North Bay, ON with an expected overnight low of -25c. Seems warm compared to what I dealt with last weekend. Working outside in Northern Quebec at -39c, not accounting for windchill factor.
Fire's on. Glass is full of Holiday Cheer. Dogs at my feet. This is the life.

Keith Webb-- hey that's well done!
Robert- 'barnac that looks good..

For those not in Canada, most of the southern areas of central and eastern Canada just went through a massive ice storm.. hundreds of thousands without power, and several days later, still, in Toronto area still 115,ooo sans power.. although crews are working hard to repair lines... Fortunately winds have been fairly calm. A windy day would bring down more ice covered branches and more lines down.

Starting to get chilly also.. as I write this, at 1800 on the 24th, its -14 in Montreal and with wind feels like -21

BUT, apparently clear skies so good flying for Santa Claus.

http://www.youtube.com/user/NORADTracksSanta

(note two (Cdn) CF-18s accompany Santa briefly and this apparently got the wind up some childrens advocacy group in the US who said NORAD was "militarizing" Christmas and promoting violence !!!

In spite of that silliness.. Merry Christmas !!!!
