The Bv206 in question belongs to a friend who has a cottage up that way. He and I have been friends for a number of years.

He suffered a catastrophic engine failure 25 km in the bush on a well established trail area.

It is a simple recovery with the use of the vehicle specific A frame that I am in the throes of finishing. It was designed for such an event and makes the casualty vehicle a wholly controlled towed load and does it very safely and well.

I have received via PM a phone number for Angus and will contact him.

If I go, I will take many pictures, but honestly aside from furnishing the A frame, I don't need to go, I have other projects of a higher priority.

Just got off the phone with Angus.

Funnily enough he rode with me at Coe Hill in our BV206 on the trail ride. I didn't get his name at the time but he knew who I was as soon as I called. Obviously I made an impression

Splendid gent, still no intentions of getting a computer but loves to chat on the phone.

He has engaged.

BV 206...I think I'd give up my first born for one of them.

Wonder if Swithin's in UK still flog them?
