I'll try and remember to bring a thread gauge home from work to confirm the pitch.

All I did was work out the diameter and machine the thread at the correct TPI a little at a time, trying the "nut" until I got a good fit. It'll be easy on a cnc mill, I was using an old fashioned Myford, winding it off and reversing before it bottoms out. Not something I want to do again
