The C8 in Monuments men has its head lights moved outwards, this done to most of the Danish CMP's, could this be an ex danish one? or was the same done in other countries?

Default Could Be...

But the markings are different (maybe changed for the movie), and the tires are different - bar vs S tread (maybe changed over time??). Turn signal lights also look to be different. Nonetheless, it is always good to see a HUP in a modern movie.

A HUP, apparently derived from the UNRA somewhere in Greece, early 1950's..

..unspeakable poverty just a few years after the WWII...

Default 30 K Views

YouTube is indeed an interesting form of media with strange attractions. My video of the Pilot Model HUP just passed the 30 thousand views threshold (no, the majority of views were not mine...).

Gratuitously self-aggrandizing bump:

Default Rhodesian HUP

Whilst watching Clarkson, May and Hammond galivanting across Zimbabwe, I spotted a forlorn HUP in the scrap yard they were visiting. Fans can watch the final episode of the Grand Tour and pause at the 42.50 mark of the show to see it. I'll bet that it had one hell of a life.
