Didn't we see this same truck about 4 years back? If I recall it was at an airport.
Found it: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...3&postcount=59 It was sold on ebay last time. Last edited by rob love; 17-09-14 at 12:39. |

While it is not technically a CMP, it is a CDN military pattern vehicle of sorts:

Hi
Only two things could have made the trip more of an adventure, howling blizzard and two feet of snow on the road, then you could have engaged the blower. Wonder what the gas mileage drops to with both engines at full song? Probably in the gallons of gas to the mile. This the type of CMP toy when you pray for snow just so you can use it. Looking forward to seeing photos of truck, great to see vehicles like this preserved. Cheers Phil

This vehicle looks an awful lot like one that used to be in Morden Manitoba in the late 1970's. It was parked along the fence of a compound on the South side of the main street into Morden, at the East end of town. Across the street at the time was an old eccentric chap with several dozen old cars lined up three rows deep. These all slowly rotted away until he died and most went for scrap. The blower moved around a bit in the yard (maybe being used from time to time), but eventually disappeared.

Last night I noticed an Ontario kijiji listing for military parts and in checking the seller's other ads I noted a CMP showing in the background of one of them. Much too far away for me to visit without taking a day to get there. Anyone see this before or know of the seller and what is truly there? I replied to the ad a while back and asked about the CMP but did not receive a reply.
I have no connection to or knowledge of the seller. Ad with CMP in background http://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-auto-pa...top/1059987854 Last night's Ad for parts http://www.kijiji.ca/v-auto-body-par...-mb/1081475599 Another one of the seller's ads http://www.kijiji.ca/v-auto-body-par...ian/1077226227 |

This seller is up and down on Kijiji often. He usually has an opening line in his ads looking for Mustang parts. Over time I've noticed his overpriced M151A2 and Iltis parts. Maybe one really is born every minute.

That's the remains of a Cab 11 F8 that my 1A2 radio body and lockers came off of. When I got it it was sitting on the cab 13. They're in an auto wreckers yard in North Battleford.

The seller listed above has two more kijiji ads for CMPs. The photo with the first ad shows the back of a frame in the background that looks heavier than 15cwt.

I am pretty sure all three of his ads are for the same truck . He renews the ad regularly so it stays on the top of the kijiji classifieds.
Note the bullet holes through the windshields. Remember that for every hole in there will be one going out. Not what one really looks for in an $1800 truck. It would appear the price fluctuates as well. He is asking for $300 more now that the ad has a photo. Last edited by rob love; 12-10-15 at 16:10. |
