Default I bid on them...

But very soon out of my price range. If someone here on MLU was the buyer, I sure would appreciate a copy of originals if possible. Nice to see originals none the less. Cheers Rob

Rob

You could try emailing the seller - tell them you have a 17pdr and are looking for photocopies/scans of the manual, but didnt see the auction in time - ask them if they will forward your email address for the buyer to contact you. I've done this before and found I get a 50/50 response success rate from the buyer.

Given the price they went for, fair chance the buyer will be happy to sell you scans to recover some of their cost.

Tim

Rob ,

I recommend that you check this website out, Rob van meel http://www.robvanmeel.nl/?q=catalog/340 reproduces manuals to a very good standard and has some 17 pdr copies available.
I can certainly vouch for the Illustrated parts list as I have one here.
If you have no joy direct let me know and I will get one for you.

This group of 17 pdr manuals I think were about right with value, the Handbook and maintenance manual are worth around £75 each and the drill book £20 ,the pamphlet £10.

Had a great day, good food, and great people. See pics of the club members and some nice vehicles. Congratulations to long time P.C. member Derk Derin on his engagement this weekend, we all wish him all the best.

Default Rob Fast

Thank you, Rob, for the great food and hospitality yesterday. Very much appreciated.

Get this week at work behind you now and you can start to relax with the '17'!

David
