You could try emailing the seller - tell them you have a 17pdr and are looking for photocopies/scans of the manual, but didnt see the auction in time - ask them if they will forward your email address for the buyer to contact you. I've done this before and found I get a 50/50 response success rate from the buyer. Given the price they went for, fair chance the buyer will be happy to sell you scans to recover some of their cost.
