I have asked Tony to come back Hanno and I won't relate exactly what his reply was but he told me the Blitz was on the back burner for now for reasons he said he would not get into. I get the feeling that it has been a multitude of things rather then just any offence (if any was taken) at anyone's comments/actions on MLU.

Don't worry I will continue to work on getting him posting again

Because of health issues Tony's Blitz may not be finished. He may even sell what he has if he can't continue when cooler weather comes next winter.
Tony wishes to thank all members who have encouraged him and sent messages when Bryce joined the army. Bryce is doing well and should march out towards the end of January if the present schedule is maintained.
For his own personal reasons Tony will not be back on MLU, though he values friendships made through the forum.

Default Sorry to hear this

Thanks for letting us know Robert.

That's sad to hear, but I'm sure I speak for the MLU membership here in wishing Tony all the best for his health and for him to be encouraged through this to continue with his project and enjoy the fruits of his labour.

Tony,

You will be greatly missed on this forum. Thanks for all your help on and off this forum. And thanks for encouraging me to continue on with my project during my darkest hours the past two years.

Your old buddy,

And on behalf of MLU management, I'll second that.

All the best Tony, and I hope we see you back sometime.

Best regards,
Hanno

Default March out

Bryce completed basic training and Sam & I were honoured to be guests of the Baker family at the march out yesterday.
Sam and I went back to Wagga today and had lunch with Bryce and his parents. Tony and his wife are very proud of their son.

As well they should be! Congratulations to the Baker family.
I am sorry I was unable to make the lunch today. I don't normally work Saturdays, but we are building a road on some river country and we are trying to beat the expected rain!
Cheers
