Are the MK1's and MK2's different? It very much looks like it. I have an original seat back in my MK2 (with square hole in the middle) and the bulkhead and bracketery are all original. But the seat back is much lower.

EDIT: No I don't, I just checked some pics of Kev's mk1 and it's the same as mine... The Mk2 must have a smaller seat back.

Some research needed on this. Ross suggested to me it might have something to do with the fitting of the " Sutton Harness". Possibly that also has something to do with the square hole?

The height is 26 inch width is 14.6 inch of the seat back
