Ram at Debert

This photo of my friends father, Wilfred French, taken at Debert Nov 1942. He was in the BC Reg 4CAD. Where's the gun barrel?

It is facing the other direction, the image shows the back of the turret.

Don't forget that many early Ram IIs were delivered without their armament because of 6-pdr shortages, there are numerous examples illustrated in Canada's Pride.
