I'm still after a close up photo of the clamp that holds the bottom of the hand brake cable to the tag welded to the lower front plate maybe some one has this part on the bench the manual picture has no detail . Thanks Dale

Hello Dale,
This is the part you need for the lower handbrake clamp.
From memory the top clip is similar to the type used to fasten jeep brake flex hoses to the axle housings so one of these may fit?

Excellent Photo Ian. Thanks heaps , that's what I was after . looks a lot harder to make then I thought . Now any chance some one has a spare they could sell me that would make my day . Dale

Restored the speedometer today with help from MLU members tips . I did the metal work , tidy up and applied the sticker . My friend who is a retired instrument maker cleaned up the insides reset the barrel back to zero , painted some of the missing numbers back on , Andrew was spot on about the numbers very fragile they look like letterset , then re-greased and tested , also repaired the broken pointer .

One other tip, is that I believe the gear change lettering was blacked out, I believe this to be how it came out of the "Bren Factory" when being made, This can be achieved by just using a black "vivid pen".....Your thoughts?
