I will add to what Tony Baker has said:
From my recent experience, you will save yourself a fortune if you buy a $10,000 going concern as compared to a $1 -> $3000 almost going blitz. You would be shocked when you get all the bills to get one running... and then there is the time it takes.... But if you have the time and the money, go for it as it is an excellent and rewarding undertaking. Tony
