Default Rear brakes only...

The main issue would be driving at speed, and pulling a bit too quickly on the brakes and having the rear brakes grab. I have had the carrier suddenly start to spin at roundabouts! on smooth hotmix surfaces (Asphaltic concrete to some, Tarmacadam to others)
I find that using the displacement steering allows large radius turns in a higher gear to traverse a medium sized urban roundabout more smoothly.
Changing down to a lower gear is not as effective, as the radius tends to be tighter. (Obviously doing a right angle turn at an intersection requires the lower gear).
At slow speeds and on softer surfaces it should not be an issue.
