M-series quantities produced in Canada

Title or author of the article? An official document? I believe the 750 figure for the "M38A1" was interpreted from a handwritten notation on a 1952 Ford of Canada month-end M38 production sheet (which noted 2135 M38's). The Dec. 1952 entry is a hand-written notation: "750 Jobs Built Dec. 1952 & Jan. 1953". This must refer to M38A1 since the November 1952 entry notes that M38 production ended Nov.27, 1952 and M38A1 F-200041 had been produced by end of November. I interpret the entry as inferring that M38A1 production started Nov.11, 1952. So the question is a total of 750 M38A1 or 41+ 750= 791 M38A1? Further handwritten notes says "see Jan. 1953 records. Last 224 jobs with short dipstick" but nobody has come up with a copy of the 1953 records yet. Also a reminder that the date that Ford built a vehicle does not correspond to the "Delivered Date" on the serial data plate. The delivered dates on the data plates lagged past the production date, often for weeks or months. ...... Brian
