In the New Year I will see if I can get a better scan of the pages.
There are a couple reports available (for a fee) from the UK archives regarding the no8 smoke rounds. Ten years ago many of us had the same questions re the carriers, and one by one the mysteries have disappeared. It's really a team effort.
