Default What are the odds ??

Guys,

I was poking around the internet the other day and plugged in "C19SR" to see what was out there. Lo and behold up popped the elusive circuit breaker and resistor circuit that I had given up on, and finally cobbled one together. Obsolete Automotive of Vinton, West Virginia has a stock of these NOS components should anyone else be looking for one.

Just got mine today, I continue to be impressed how these parts were packaged. Seventy plus years and it looks brand new. Needless to say it will be going on the Lynx.

Peter

Rick,

Glad to hear that you were successful. Small return for the benefits that I've gained from you posts and pictures. They have been quite a motivator.

Default Wiring

Guys,

Got a shipment of colour coded, cloth covered wiring from Vintage wiring of Maine. Tackled the wiring from the crew compartment JB to the dash board. It looks as if the original wiring caught fire in this section.
Cannot help but commenting on Rick's Lynx 1 where the wiring is all one colour - black. The Lynx 11 uses over twenty different colour schemes.

Peter

Default Care package

Folks,

Just received a package from LWD parts. Brings out the same sentiments as young kids at Christmas, when you can open up 70 year old parcels and find great looking parts.

Stefan must have posted your package and mine about the same time as I have also just received a package of Lynx bits from LWD parts. Unfortunately the radiator cap, (part no. 8100), does not fit the Lynx radiator so I will have to use it on the carrier radiator.

Is that a choke or throttle cable I see in your photo? I had to make new handles as I left them in the molasses mix a day or two too long and the mixture dissolved the die-cast handles. It did de-rust the cables for me.

Regards Rick.
