I have pictures of your machine on file but could not make out the brand.

What I am trying to do is do a spot weld around the perimeter of the dorr skin after the initial 90 degree bend.......... then once the skin is firmly in place fold it over relying on the spot weld to keep the skin tight.

I am concerned with leaving spot weld marks on the visible side of the door....... Miller had a combination of one pointed upper tip ( that would fit behind the 90 degree fold) and a large ( nickel size 5cts) flat tip for the bottom..... which I would use on the good side of the door. I have yet to run test with them. Problem is theyonly fit on the 12 in. long rods which have a lot of deflection when you apply pressure. From my experience unless you have sufficient pressure you are likely to have some occasional blow out the side with some crater markings. I usually use my shorter rods with the "horse tooth" offset which gets me good pressure and very little marking.

All the skins will be prebent on the pan box brake to 90 + degrees except for the curved area which I will do with heat and body hammers.

Did you have to redo your cab 12 door skins. Any pitfalls to avoid????
