For the carrier, and many of the CMPs, use the Gillespie 33070 olive drab and add Gillespie red oxide primer to about 10 to 15%. You will adjust it to suit what you are after. I have had great success with this paint, it is cheap and easy to apply. I get mine from Rapco in texas, or pick it up a the MVPA conventions.

I know the day is coming when we will not be able to get these paints anymore, so I take advantage of it while we have it.
