| M 38 cdn

Need some help, mates: I’m looking for this fellow who may be a member here or on other club sites: Ed Smith M 38 CDN Jeep CFR No 52 -32152 Ontario Canada Registration To make a long story short and keep people’s attention, I think he has a data plate that may go with my M38. It would help to solve a puzzle and maybe get these two together again. Anyone who has a suggestion on how to get in touch with him (or any lead whatsoever) I’d much appreciate it.

52-32152 is an unusually high CFR number that I have not seen reported previously. I do not think it is related to any M38CDN ever owned by the late Ed Smith of Toronto, but any further clues to this jeep would be interesting.

Online source: http://www.gvrdeu.org/M38%20Service%...umber%20DB.pdf Near the bottom of the referenced document (above weblink), there seems to be documented CAR numbers for M38CDN's up to 52-32068. That is 84 digits off the number in question.

The c.a.r# for this m38cdn sounds quite leglt to me caus its only 2 numbers off mine..I put 52-32154 back on the road this spring..I'm told mine spent most of its life in London near the armory..id assume there's a good chance that's where 52-32152 originates from as well.
