Found the attached when doing a 'trawl' though the NZ National Archives site this afternoon!
Taken on the day that the NZ troops entered Trieste in May, 1945.

Looks like a Ford CMP with a No.11 cab made it through the war in Italy!

Ref: DA-08388
New Zealand Infantry men dismounting from their trucks at the Albergo Excelsior, a hotel in Trieste, Italy. Photographed by George Kaye on the 4th of May 1945. NZ National Archives Collection.

Cheers,
Pete M.

Default Unusual vehicle

The vehicle on the right of the pic above looks like an Australian Ford-Marmon Herrington Artillery Tractor No 3 or 3A, but it has a hard cab which I have not seen before. Any comments?

Thank you so much Hanno!!!

My 76 year old eyes are not that good anymore as well the photo was a bit out of focus.

I came to the same conclusion but was having trouble finding a good photo of a Dodge with the roof hatch (they apparently came with and without the hatch).

I will have to go with this one.

Bill

It seems to finish at 4:34...

But if you go to 4:08 you may see a silhouette of something close to Howard's heart!
