Some of the old hams tell me that people used to buy the B2 for a few quid, ditch the radio and keep the nice leather suitcase.

Current price is in the thousands depending on condition and what's included. A complete set with all the coils, key, headphones & bits can easily sell for $3000-6000.

Setting a low opening bid appears more successful that a high BIN. There's been one for sale here for the past month or so asking about £6000. Doesn't sell and gets relisted with same price.
