Haha no I have not tried that Bob. But next time I see your truck I'll know where to check.


But I just finished the roof hip ring crash pads. I had to make one new metal backing plate as the original was too rusted away to use. A few of the captive nuts also needed replacing. Metal was sealed in POR. Canvas was treated to a wax based waterproofing seal inside and outside. The actual padding is for marine use so even if it gets wet it will not absorb and water. I also used 3M spray adhesive on the backing plate, foam and backside of canvas. It helped greatly in assembling these and nothin should move around.
