1962. Slightly before I started driving (legally.)
Spotted in the opening credits that Roger Climpson did the commentary. Unannounced though is the appearance of Professor Harry Messel! Look him up to see the Canadian connection and his role in post-war Australia. (I'll admit I didn't get his name right - I had to search too; I was thinking Prof. Harry Messner, but Messel it is.)
