Harle.

If you are referring to the small hole directly behind the two hex bolts in your Post #5, that is where the clip to hold the marker/side light wiring goes. The actual location of the light itself, is roughly in line with the two hex bolts, but much farther out towards the edge of the wing.

On the Cab 13's, the side marker lamp was more centered on the wing, between the side cowl and outer wing edge. If the mounting holes for the side marker have been filled over, you may be able to see where they used to be, underneath the wing.
