Default Small but significant

Guys,

Thanks to some great MLU networking, I was introduced to Markus Muellner. This talented individual used a computer, scanner and 3D printer to cut me reproductions of my data and publication plates. Once riveted into place they are indistinguishable from the real thing. Also had the last of the radiator shrouding fabricated and now the oil cooler is properly secured. Small steps but quite rewarding.

Peter

3D printer ? So are your plates made of 3D printed plastic painted silver or what? Very ingenious solution.

Actually they are milled aluminum using a CNC router.

Default Workmanship

Markus,

Thanks for clarifying the process.

David,

I can attest to the quality of the plates. While the back side is flat and unfinished the front is exceptional and personalized with all the correct information.

Peter

Default Engine update

Guys,

I was very fortunate when Dave Good agreed to undertake the rebuild of the 239 engine that my friend Doug Lavoie had tracked down for me. The attached pictures will show why I feel so good.

Default Totally biased

Guys,

While I do not have the talents or skills to perform tasks such as rebuilding the engine for my Lynx, I pride myself for being able to persuade Dave Good to undertake this task. The attached pictures speak for themselves.
