Swedes in RAF
Tage Stċhlenberg born 1920 was an aircraft mechanics with the Royal Swedish Airforce. In 1941 he took a job as a mess boy aboard a freighter bound for USA in order to join the allies.
In New York he joined the Norwegian Airforce and was trained in "Little Norway", Canada. Joined RAF 331st Sqn. Flew 127 missions before demobilized in 1945. Post WW 2 he was a pilot in Sweden and died in an a/c crash 31st May 1948 aged 28. Photo 1944 in Norwegian uniform.
