Check the number that is stamped on the right side of the heads, that will be the compression ratio. There will be a 5 or 6 stamped in the lower part of the head.
5's can be converted to 6 by shaving .120 off the bottom, and watch the valve clearance. Use the copper head gaskets not the Teflon as they are too thick and will lower the compression ratio. WLC and WLA bikes came with # 5 heads.
