Norm, from what I can read this was the paybook of Gefreiter Otto Frey. Does the paybook mention a birthdate of 21 April 1911? If so, see the appeal on the Volksbund Deutsche
Kriegsgräberfürsorge website: he was killed 12 days after he was promoted to Gefreiter - and they are still looking for him... Maybe you can contact the Volksbund and let them know you have his paybook? Hanno
