Default Cheers Huxley.

So the pilot officers of 602 are looking for large sizes? The cozy Spitfire cockpit starting to feel a little cramped for you middle age fighter types? Maybe its time to leave the flying to Officers Prune and Plonk! Bite on the bell tents, they are what you chaps need, and very close to original. Keep in touch. Mr. Fast

Default Need to keep Willie warm...

Mr. Fast... 602 is off to some winter flight ops in January... must keep old Willie warm.

He is a rather large bloke!

LOL!

Still debating the tents... I am not sure what the lads will decide.

My money is all tied up in my Austin 10 Saloon.

Say "hullo" to those scantily clad young ladies you kept sending over to our dispersal!

Still owe you one for that!

But I do see a photo of the garments the young ladies were liberated of.
Or weren't they even that scantily clad?!?

Default One of the girls was quite helpful...

She took me to the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipeg... but kept getting in the way of my "nature" shots.

Default Huxley...

call Pilot Officer Fredrick Carsteds in Winnipeg, have him go down to Maraway Militaria on Sargeant St., RCAF greatcoats, all sizes, good price. Talk to Jamie or Wayne, great people. Cheers Rob

Default No Joy!

Still looking.

My man Biggles (he was our photographer in the KD) checked your lads out and what they had was all way too small.

Come on lads... help me out?

Need U.S. size 46-48... 6 feet tall. Prefer officer's, but OR would do too.

Check your closets!

Check your neighbor's closets (or his wife's undie drawer at least)!

Cheers!

Huxley

Default RCAF Greatcoats

Still no luck!

Need RAF or RCAF Greatcoat in U.S. size 46 or so.

The locals in Winnipeg didn't have any large sizes.

Or cheap Irvin repro in same size.

Can anyone help?

E-mail me at raf602@NOSPAMbel-net.net (remove NO SPAM)

Cheers!
