This Sherman is a gate guard at the old CFB Chillwack base in BC. I was able to get some interior shots by sticking my camera up through a hole in the engine compartment. You can still see some decals on the inside and it looks fairly complete except for the engines, getting 2 GMC 671’s would be easy, but harder to find the transmission and coupler unit, still it would be great to have this restored to running, maybe if I win the lottery?

The tank’s name is Catherine and I have more photo’s and can get more details if anyone wants them. Inside shot one more |

The dual engine packages (with different overall ratios) were often used as power paks in the oilfield.
