Terry, sorry to hear of your experience. UShip, like eBay and other online sites, does have resolution options as well as a rating system to vett companies.
It is buyer beware like everything else these days . In your particular situation I would not have let the shipper shake me down for anything over and above the agreed on price. This is a clear violation of the policies and agreement to use Uship.
